Wedding Plans for Wilson McAdoo Event in Blue Room

Invitations for Miss Wilson and Mr. McAdoo reveal a simple form, no engravings, with the ceremony set in the Blue Room and views of the 10 acre lawn from the south front portico and the state dining room. Attending guests include Eleanor Wilson and Nona McAdoo with other Washington officials and diplomats. The couple and party return to Washington tomorrow, while local Boston-area rumors about a White House bride are dismissed as misperception.

Eleanor Wilson Keeps Close Social Schedule At White House

As the wedding approaches, Miss Eleanor Wilson appears less in public, entertains at dinner parties in her honor, and spends mornings and afternoons at the White House. Rumors about Secretary McAdoo moving near the city and Miss McAdoo remaining at Massachusetts avenue could not be verified. A party left Washington by special train to Richmond, hosted by Mr. and Mrs. John Skelton Williams, with Virginia Governor Stuart and other distinguished guests joining the trip.
