In a Boston area custody dispute Judge Fox approved the mother's view that the child should not meet her divorced father soon. Mrs Mary Cushman sought alimony and child custody after divorce from Lawrence Cushman. alimony was cut from 20 to 10 a week and paternal access denied for now. The couple, married 1905, separated 1912 amid infidelity and abuse, with the child Virginia Cushman born 1910. Cushman’s income drop from 80 to 15 weekly prompted the modification.
