Foot Soles and Shoes Worn to Uneven Comfort
Describes how a curved uneven foot forms depressions in a flat shoe sole over time. Old shoes become stretched and wrinkled above the foot as leather tensions change with walking, and the interior accumulates perspiration, creating an unhealthy environment for the foot.
Shoe insole promises comfort and wear reduction
An advertized shoe feature claims a collapsing CENTRESOLE conforms to the foot under pressure, expanding with the ball during walking. The insole supposedly distributes pressure, prevents upper wrinkling, reduces labor in walking, and cushions each step like a pneumatic tire, with immediate rebound.
