A Sunday schools parade named World in Boston drew 8000 participants marching with banners and bands. About 6000 entered Mechanics Hall, overflowing the venue and forcing doors to close. The missionary mass meeting inside left some 2000 spectators outside in line.
In a fragmentary note a crowd gathered outside the hall was addressed from upper windows, with the scene continued on Page 4 First Column.
A Boston story notes the emotional scene as Robert E. Davie, once a Boston broker, arrives at South Station with Inspectors Burr and Pelton and his attorney Winfield Towne. Davie, accused of embezzlement, is escorted from the New York train amid onlookers. The piece hints at a continuing report on page 4 Y fourth column.
St John NB April 23 Hattie LeBlanc will travel to Cambridge for testimony in a case where the Glover will contest if Judge Hammond of the Massachusetts Supreme Court, after reviewing her deposition testimony, orders her to appear. Attorney Melvin M. Johnson arrived to safeguard the girl’s rights and spoke tonight.

Thomas George, 29, of Edinboro Street, and Joseph Schabany, 28, of Hudson Street, suffered serious head and groin wounds and multiple contusions.
A clash at a Lagrange Street cafe ends in stabbing and club fights as Sliman and George factions clash amid a feud between Syrian families. Police guard the area after two men are found unconscious and wounded, with Morin George held as a witness and Schabany facing assault charges.
