Isoteric Club Bouts End in Draws Before 1500 Fans

At the Isoteric Club last night two lively bouts drew in front of about 1500 spectators. The first match between Pocahontas and Young Walcott lasted six rounds and ended in a draw. The main event pitted Bill Barrett of Pepekkre against Andy Daly of Boston. after fifteen rounds the fight was also ruled a draw.

Aleck Servos and A H Finley will coach the Wellesley golf team this season. The Wellness golf club has over 100 members and Miss E G Walker 1900 was elected manager. Two major yacht negotiations changed ownership of the Noboko a 46 foot naphtha yacht sold to Alvin T Sortwelle of Cambridge. The Noboko will be shipped to Wiscasset Maine. A meeting of the Yacht Racing Association of Massachusetts may set whether four foot cabin boats may sail in the class amid builder misinterpretations and potential creation of a new class.
