Tragedy at Savoy as Grady Takes Carbolic Acid
Joseph A. Grady a 45 year old New York travelling salesman drank carbolic acid in the Hotel Savoy office in the presence of guests clerks and porters. He died in hospital after writhing in agony. He left behind a wife eight children and a mother in New York. Police from Vineland and New York investigated the case. motive remained unknown. The body lay at the Relief station morgue.
