Along the route through Medford Arlington and Concord groups waved flags and cheered the Twentieth Century Paul Revere. He was followed by mounted scouts from the Massachusetts National Guard and hundreds of motorists.
New York April 19 reports definite improvement in the condition of Madame Sarah Bernhardt, critically ill at a city hospital, according to a physicians’ bulletin issued this evening.

In the American League Philadelphia won 4 to 3 in 12 innings over Boston. St Louis won 6 to 2 over Chicago, Cleveland beat Detroit 8 to 7, and New York defeated Washington 3 to 2 in 10 innings.
