Child Run Down by Electric Car in Chelsea Tragedy

Charles Goldstein a six year old Chelsea boy was struck by a Washington and Everett avenues Lynn and Boston train car as he ran into the street. His mother pulled the body from under the wheels before help arrived. Motorman George H. Scott and conductor John K. Thombs were questioned. Scott was arrested on a serious case charge as investigators review the accident.

Death of H Murray at corner arrest

H Murray a colored man aged 68 died last night after a hemorrhage at the corner of Orson and Revere streets. He was taken to his home at 1 Thompson and died shortly after. Dr Roberts attributed the death to natural causes.

Millionaire Rufus S. Wright Dies After Hotel Shooting

Chicago reports Rufus S. Wright, rubber tire magnate, died from a gunshot wound suffered during a scuffle over a revolver at the Leland Hotel. An inquest is set, with police leaning to an accidental discharge. Wrights son in law Fred Morgan witnessed his death. The coroner will rule on Mrs. Lottridge's involvement as Detectives question whether Wright held the weapon at impact.

Dog Saves Family From Fire in Malden

Fire at 181 Lebanon Street in Malden early Saturday morning endangered Mr. M. L. Stacy and his wife until the family dog Ponto detected flames. Ponto woke the couple who extinguished the blaze, with damage estimated around 150 dollars to the house and 176 dollars to other property.
