Gloucester City celebrated the return of Company G of the Eighth Massachusetts Regiment from Cuba with a parade and banquet. A crowd lined streets as the unit arrived, then joined a 1:30 marching line and 2:00 parade. A City Hall banquet for 550 featured speeches by Mayor W W Trench and others, with Judge Edgar S Taft as toastmaster.

FIRST CORPS OF CADETS CONCERT AT ARMORY
An informal concert and reception was held at the armory of the Viral Corps of Cadets at the corner of ordinand street and Columbus avenue last evening. The band played from 8 30 to 10 30 and about two thousand people attended, with many ladies present. Cadets wore undress uniforms while couples danced to waltz music and promenaded through the hall.
