Chicago reports the famed grain speculator Ed ward Pardridge amid a chaotic May wheat session. He vows to restart if he can raise 2,000,000 in real estate value and support from his wife, while a bear-clique targets him on the floor. May wheat closes near prior levels as nervous trading continues.
