Police link Tucker to Harold and Mabel Page through known associations and a missing knife sheath found in Jeremiah Woodward’s wagon. Blood stains on Tucker’s trousers and a partially described witness place him near the Page house before 11 30 am.

A missing knife from Robertson’s boathouse, Tucker’s bloodstained trousers, pawn ticket for a ring, and a Tucker dress suit case.
West Newton April 10 state police seek direct link between a leather knife sheath teeth imprints found in Jeremiah Woodward wagon and suspect Charles L Tucker. The sheath was recovered by Arthur Woodward and casts of Tucker s teeth matched the marks, strengthening the arrest case. Continued on Page 4
City of Boston informs residents intending to be away during the first seven days of May to report their absence by contacting a police station or writing to the Board of Police. Failure to do so may result in their name being omitted from residency and voting lists. Chairman W. H. H. Emmons signs the notice.
A Santa Barbara Edison Company streetcar ran off the tracks and overturned. Three people were killed instantly and two more died soon after. About twenty others were injured, many with bruises and broken bones, all believed to be residents of Santa Barbara.
Monday will be fair in Boston and surrounding areas with clear skies. Tuesday expects partly cloudy to cloudy conditions as the weather milds. The note links coughing to consumption and recommends Lung Kuro as a cure.
In Auburndale on April 10 J R Robertson reported a Swedish self sheathing knife missing from his Riverside boathouse. An officer tied the blade type to Mabel Page's fatal wounds and noted the knife could have caused the injuries. State police and locals discussed the missing knife and related visits by Charles Tucker.
Tucker asserts he did not leave his Bourne Street home until 11:45 on the murder day. He lists a string of corroborating sightings from Cutter's corner at 12:15 to the Auburndale boat house by 12:45 and 1:00 near the bridge, with others placing him with Miss Walker at 1:30. He denies carrying a knife despite blood stains on his trousers.
