Roxbury Girl of 26 Fatal Love Tragedy
William A. Parker 18 confessed to shooting his sweetheart Elenora Cobb 26 at her room No 32 Newcomb Street after a quarrel over alleged infidelity. Parker claimed she struck him with a bottle, then he fired four shots, two hitting her. she died almost instantly. Parker, a bakery worker, and Cobb were colored. Captain Dugan led the investigation at the scene.
