Grace Laskey an 18 year old girl was found dead in her room at Mrs Perkins boarding house in Houston Me. Authorities investigate with suspicion of poison though Medical Examiner F L Jackson said late tonight he believes death likely resulted from alcoholism and exposure.

An articulated El car on the Harvard Square to Waverley line tore from its rails on Trapelo road near Walnut street in Waverley. The vehicle plunged down a hill and overturned. Six people were injured. three were hospitalized in Waverley and Waltham. Crew unharmed.
