Curious Ocean Find From Canopus Trawl
Portiano Maine April 9 special The fishing schooner Canopus recently hauled a trawl that yielded a petrified human skull fragment. The piece shows light brown hair about an inch and a half long on one side and measures about the size of a duck egg. A microscope confirmed it is part of a male skull and it will be sent to the Smithsonian Institute.
