Miss Esther Regan, a 19 year old Natick girl, was missing for four days and found outside her home after midnight. She told her mother a strange abduction story that lacked corroboration and was related by her mother to a Post reporter yesterday.
A witness stated she had worked in the office of a Boston department store for 10 years. The report continues on page 4 sixth column.
Dr Levi Wilson Moen, central figure in the long unsolved Wilson Moen case linking Uxbridge and Worcester, Massachusetts, is reported to have died penniless in Newark. The 42 year mystery has puzzled investigators and the public since its onset.
Early yesterday morning a fire in a two family frame dwelling at 25 Linden Street Quincy forced ten residents to flee into the street. Mrs Catherine McDonald awakened to explosions and smoke while lighting a candle in the cellar causing the blaze to start. Firemen arrived quickly and kept damage to about 500 dollars, with the cause traced to a lit candle and gas meter connections.
J Frank Lorence of 13 Linden Street Brookline was held up by two men on Brainerd Road Allston last night. One robber wore a spring derby hat and both carried revolvers. While one searched Lorence, the other kept a weapon ready to shoot if he cried out, taking $27.
In Webster on April 2 Miss Helen Gawieski 18 drank an ounce and a half of poison in the Galvin home after parents refused James Galvin’s marriage. She was rushed to Worcester City Hospital on the danger list. She lived near the Galvin residence and after visiting her sister she returned to the Galvin kitchen and drank the poison.
A solemn ceremony honors the final American war hero as wreaths are laid and flowers dropped from planes over the bier. Military leaders and family members attend, paying tribute to a life of service and sacrifice.
Arrival of the last of America's 70 000 war dead was commemorated in Brooklyn today. One body, Private Charles W Graves of Rome Ga, symbolized the 1065 soldiers returned from France last week on the troopship Cambrai.

Four armed bandits overpowered Albert R. Shattuck and seven servants at 19 Washington Square North. They bound victims and ransacked the New York residence for 90 minutes, fleeing with jewels valued at $90,000. a partial clue was found on an overcoat left behind as police chased them through Washington Square.
In Dublin on April 2 the Irish Republican Army revealed a deep division as five Dublin battalions ordered to pledge a new oath joined 2000 men marching to Smithfield. They swore allegiance to free themselves from responsibility to Dail Eireann, under the gaze of Liam Mellows and Roderick O’Connor. The extremists hailed the turnout amid a muted crowd including women’s groups.
Rochester New York April 2 After twenty hours of questioning John J Bott confessed to shooting and killing his wife Irene in the vestibule of a Home Acres house. The couple had been living apart and Bott said she refused his plea to return and began to run away before he fired.
A large crowd gathered at Faintea Hall for a welcome to General Pierce Beasley and Irish Free State Commission members. During the event 50 girls heckled and booed, unfurled banners, and clashed with police as several hundred men joined the protest. Beasley condemned the interrupters noting a planned anti Free State demonstration.
