Man Struck by a Train Near Brownsburg Crossing
Albert Jennings of near Brownsburg was injured when his buggy was struck by a Big Four passenger train at a crossing between Clermont and Brownsburg about 8:30 this morning. He was taken to Culver Union hospital with a deep gash over the left eye and temporary blindness. his companion escaped unharmed. Dr. Laur el Lingeman assisted. By late afternoon Jennings rested easily and his condition improved while investigators reported the accident occurred as Jennings tried to cross the tracks without seeing the approaching train.
