Police found no trace of the car and it appears the thief drained spark plugs and other equipment to drive it away. Cobb, a well known local figure, had purchased the vehicle last Friday.

Two Interurban workers struck near Greencastle
Paul Brandenburg of this city seriously injured and Charles Montgomery of Coatesville killed when a Vandalia freight car struck them at 11 30 p m as they walked toward interurban tracks three miles east of Greencastle. Brandenburg suffered a broken ankle jaw fracture scalp wounds and multiple cuts. Montgomery died instantly. Both men were beach crew for the Interurban. Brandenburg later improved briefly but remained unconscious in Indianapolis hospital.
