Washington reports on the Brownsville hearing nearness ignites editorial critique of Senator Foraker. Georgetown Texas June 12 after two days of deliberation the Commissioners Court set 40 percent on land values for taxation and 50 percent on town property notes mortgages banks and money this renders Williamson County assessed value from 40 million to 18 million. In 1906 the assessed valuation was 15.5 million but this year values were assessed at full rendition and would have stood if other counties had assessed property at full value. There will be about a 12 percent increase of values over 1906.
