Washington June 13 Secretary of State Hull marked the fifth anniversary of the reciprocal trade treaty program by denouncing discriminatory foreign trade practices, singling out Germany and Italy. He warned such regimes threaten economic life and political freedom.

Fannin county engineers conduct preliminary surveys under the county road program voted March 25 as planners draw up plans for Works Progress Administration approval after reorganization. Projects include a sledge stone base from two miles south of Bonham on Highway 78 past Edhube and black topping from Dodd City to Lamius with new drainage culverts and bridges.
