Leonard Couple Charged With Marijuana Possession
Leonard man Donald Keith Stephens and his wife Rebecca Ann Stephens were arrested in Leonard on a marijuana possession charge. A search warrant found over four ounces of marijuana at their home. Both were arraigned and released on $2,500 bonds. An absentee ballot for a $400,000 LH Rather Junior High School bond election continues through Friday at the School tax office in Leonard.

Former Oklahoma Governor David Hall, convicted of corruption in office, was paroled by the US Parole Commission. He began serving four concurrent three-year terms in a federal prison camp in Arizona and his parole takes effect May 22, 1978.
