Paris reports a new French advance between the Oise and Aisne fronts pushing roughly a mile and a quarter, linking Picardy with the Aisne Vésle line. They seized Neuivron-Vingre, held the Nantpoel plateau, and captured 1700 prisoners with heavy shelling along the Avre where 800 more were taken.
Paris dispatches say German troops, exhausted yet stubborn, resist at Roye as they prepare a final push to escape dangerous lines.
