Commerce Couple Escapes Injury In Sunday Wreck
A Commerce man James Edward Daudney 26 and Mrs Ruby Slater 27 escaped serious injury when their 1955 Plymouth crashed into the timber creek bridge railing on State Highway 78 north of Bonham. Daudney suffered a V shaped cut and facial injuries. Slater had a broken nose and facial cuts. Both were treated at a local hospital then transferred to Commerce hospital.
