In a hard fought Indiana grand lodge election Harry Wade of Lafay ette defeated Frank W Bowers of Indianapolis for grand keeper of records after three ballots. Wade won 454 to Bowers 457 in the first ballot and led in subsequent rounds. The Scarlet Ghost is the newest car in town owned by 0.C. Sixbey and built at Feeser blacksmith shop with a Brannon eighteen horsepower engine. The Akron made body was painted and trimmed locally, seating four with two rear seats removable. Dr. Fowler supervised assembly and the car is rated to forty five miles per hour under normal roads.
