The State Central Committee's address to Indiana Democrats argues for continued support of Governor Matthews and state officers, endorses silver and gold coin parity, calls for tariff revision, pension payment enforcement, and opposition to federal election interference, praising Grover Cleveland and Walter Gresham while criticizing Republican taxation and the Sherman Act. A large gathering of prominent Indiana Democrats including Senators Voorhees and Turpie met in Indianapolis on Thursday to map the next year’s campaign. Voorhees advocated bi metalism and silver coinage parity with gold, while Turpie and Gov. Matthews spoke, and the group issued an address to the state Democrats and scheduled county and district conventions.
Michael Miller born in York County Pennsylvania on September 30 1780 emigrated with family to Maryland then Ohio lived in Lancaster Wells County Ohio Ft Wayne Indiana and Union Township Indiana where he settled in 1836. He helped build a bridge at Downingtown and later entered land near Uniondale in a frontier Wells County when the area was wilderness.

An old advertisement touts Dr. Kings New Discovery for coughs colds and chest throat lung trouble. It promises relief or money back and offers a free trial bottle at C C Deams drug store with large sizes priced 50 cents and 1.00.
SPECIMEN CASES describe S. H. Clifford of New Cassel Wisconsin relieved from neuralgia rheumatism and stomach issues after three bottles of Electric Bitters. Edward Shepherd of Harrisburg NL healed of an eight year leg sore using Electric Bitters and Bucklen’s Arnica Salve. John Speaker of Batawba O. recovered from five fever sores with one bottle Electric Bitters and one Arnica Salve. Sold by C. C. Deam.
