Death of Branson Weaver Prominent Wells County Farmer
Branson Weaver died Saturday night at 11 30 after pneumonia and Brights disease. Born October 15 1837 he married Catharine Miller April 2 1863. Survived by wife four children Mia James Quick Hattie Maud John and hosted funeral at the Baptist church with G A R post services conducted by Rev W W Hicks. He served in Civil War Co G 12 Indiana and Co B 53rd before his final discharge.

Death of Henry Houtz Veteran County Resident
Henry Houtz aged citizen of the county died last Saturday at the home of his son in law Samuel Bender on Central Avenue. Born in Lebanon county Pennsylvania November 6 1215 he married Fannie Hark and had twelve children ten of whom reached adulthood. Surviving children include Mrs John Harvey Markle Jeremiah El and La P Kansas Mrs Daniel Fichberny Mia Samuel Bender Jacob and Mrs Frank Miller. He moved to Indiana in 1949 and lived on the first farm for 45 years. He and his wife were charter members of St Pauls Reformed church Rockcreek township. Funeral Monday afternoon at St Pauls church conducted by Rev G H Sonder.

Nimmons, and Adam Pattle, via slate responses. The ruse exposed alleged spirits answering from the afterlife, prompting accusations of fraud.

Big Fox Chase at Ulrich Gerber Farm Near Vera Cruz
A large fox chase is planned for Thursday November 22 starting at % o clock and gathering at 10 am on Ulrich Gerber's farm two miles north of Vera Cruz. All are invited and no dogs or guns may be brought. A substantial marshal presence will oversee the event. Dr Price's Cream Baking Powder awarded gold medal at the Midwinter Fair in San Francisco.
