Bluffton Knight Templars met at the Masonic hall and organized the Bluffton Commandery with twenty two members. J J Todd was named Eminent Commander C Warner Generalissimo Al Oppenheim Captain General and L C Davenport Recorder. The group will petition the Grand Commandery for a dispensation and elect remaining officers with about twenty membership petitions already on hand.

Snyder Mason Wedding in Bluffton Community
Last Wednesday evening at the bride’s parents home Miss Lillie Mason wed J Laurie Snyder in a quiet ceremony conducted by Rev W W Hicks. Both are well known in Bluffton with Mrs Snyder a local high school graduate and respected resident. Snyder works as a traveling salesman for a Toledo shoe house and has used Bluffton as headquarters. The Banner wishes the couple a happy married life.

Judicial Convention Names Vaughn for Judge in Montpelier
The twenty eighth judicial circuit convention met in Montpelier last Thursday to nominate a judge and prosecuting attorney. Unanimous ballot backed RE Vaughn for judge. For prosecuting attorney Jay A Hindman won on first ballot with 26 votes while A M Waltz received 13. Hindman, a Wells county native, is well known locally. Waltz is a promising young attorney. George E Stover relocated his grocery stock to a new east Market street building and invites former customers to visit.
