Funeral for Fort Wayne attorney Bittenger announced
Attorney Jacob R. Bittenger a Fort Wayne resident for thirty four years died at his son's home from paralysis after a Sunday stroke. Born 1852 in Lancaster Pennsylvania he moved to Fort Wayne in 1870 to practice law and serve as special judge. He was respected by the bar and an uncle of J R Bishop who will attend the funeral with his family.
