Mrs. Jennie McAfee widow of Preston McAfee died last Friday morning in Jackson Michigan after a winter in Florida. Telegrams were received by her uncle Frank Staver and Miss Clara Stafford. Funeral planned for Saturday at Jackson. Mr. Staver and Miss Stafford traveled from the city on the 10 52 train. A well known dressmaker in Arnold block, she had resided here several years and returned from the south shortly before her death. Her illness was consumption.
Regular annual meeting of the North Furniture Company stockholders will elect a director. The meeting is at the factory office in Bluffton between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on the first Monday of August 1805. C. M. Miller, Secretary.

The Clover Leaf division is now complete after land secured for the tracks. Bluffton businessmen purchased six acres from Mr. Hale, giving it to the railroad for division use. The group included W.
