Ashburnham Ontario April 18 1908 Rector Be A LangerlDt testifies the Chamberlain Cough Remedy cured his cold and cough quickly after a near voice loss. He praises its effectiveness and thanks the company in a letter to Chamberlain Medicine Co. Local dealer Davenport Ehle carries the remedy.
The fish and game report by commissioner Z T Sweeney is being printed as an 800 page book with about 500 colored plates. It has three departments including fisheries and game, with sections on Indiana fish species, lake and river basins, government stocking, summer resorts, taxidermy, and the economic value of birds. Copies will be distributed to the general assembly and are limited, so applicants should apply early for a copy.
Abbie King Keener Wing King died at 41 from inflammatory rheumatism affecting her heart. She was born November 22, 1863 in Ohio to Catherine Dove and Nicolas Keener. She lived in Pennsylva nia and married three times to Lewis Booher and later Charles J. King, with five sisters and two brothers and four children Bertha Myrtle Verna Earl, who mourn her. The funeral was at Stahl cemetery after joining the M. E. church in Reiffsburg and Poneto. Also a note on Foley’s Honey and Tar promotion against imitations by Foley & Co. Chicago.

Lot McCullick, a Keystone liveryman, fell victim to a smooth grafter Thursday when a young man asked to drive for William Baker and rented a rig. The man returned, fled with the rig, and Baker later learned no such order had been placed.

Robert B Marshall applies at the January term 1905 Wells county commissioners for a one year license to sell intoxicating liquors in the basement of the Bliss House Bluffton Indiana on inch 81 lot. He seeks to sell spirits vinous and malt in quantities less than a quart and to permit consumption on premises with a free line counter.
Wesley M. Oliver announces a one year license request at the Wells county Indiana board of commissioners January term 1905 to sell and bar liquor on premises described as a 16 by 48 foot room in a two story building on Jot 2 facing Air Line gravel road. The room locks securely and is not connected to other business.
The Wells County auditor announces bids for annual supplies to county officers for 1995. Four classes cover records and ruled blanks, multi impression press blanks, legal stationery and general writing items, and single impression letter heads and envelopes. Bids due by 10:00 a.m. December 19, 1904 with specifications on file.
Time Table No 4 announces that Nos 1 and 2 change time to take effect Monday July 21 1904. The notice is issued by ORN O Curtis Superintendent and states schedules can be altered at any time without notice.
The Texas Train of the Cotton Belt Route provides service to Arkansas Louisiana and Texas points with one night to Houston Beaumont Lake Charles and the Coast Country. It offers twenty four hour service to North East and Central Texas with through sleeping chairs and dining cars. Immigration agents are invited to correspond regarding Texas and Louisiana business via this line with twice monthly low homeseekers rates on the first and third Tuesdays and one fare plus 2.00 round trip.
