Bluffton city schools will open Monday September 10 under Supt Burris with HiwGh School Building led by Alice Ackley principal and English Latin history teachers Julia Parrott S. E. Hitchcock Maggie Stine. Central Building lists W C Kelly principal and many teachers including Laura Sutherland Maude Guthrie Muth Bartlemay Effinger Weisel Hood Loser Thomas. Washington Park Building shows Wilbur Oman principal with Alice Logue Stella Matz Louise McLaughlin and others. Louis Eichhorn will be special music teacher for all schools.

Wells County Teachers Institute Opens With Strong Attendance
Wells county teachers gathered Monday for the annual institute with unusually large attendance and high enthusiasm. Supt. R. W. Stine opened the session, singing led by Louis D. Eichhorn, and officers were elected for secretaries. Instructors F. F. Fitzgibbon and Black of Paris, Illinois, lead history geography science and literature language grammar, with Eichhorn guiding music. Attendance exceeds prior years and the program proceeds with few changes, promising a profitable week.

A large Salamonie Association Baptist convocation is set for next week in this city. The Sunday School convention meets Tuesday at noon and runs until Wednesday noon, followed by the associational annual meeting. The B Y P U anniversary closes activities on Thursday evening. The three programs promise broad participation and varied interests.
