Reformed Churches Union Picnic Draws 1200 At Arnold Grove
The union picnic of Reformed churches near Honduras drew about 1,200 people from Magley Vera Cruz Bluffton Decatur and Honduras. Four wagons and 29 rigs brought attendees, with a daylong program including ball game recitations singing and speeches by regional ministers and local figures. A committee will plan a reunion next year hoping for a foreign missionary presence. One girl fell from a rig but was unharmed. A singer failed to appear due to ball game interest. Refreshments and small booths were set up.

California woman punctured her tongue with a needle and became paralyzed. A run on the needle department followed, most purchasers being married men.
