Wells County Republicans met at Sixbyes Opera House with a near full crowd including Democrats and prohibitionists. Death of William T. Yarger in Nottingham Township
William T. Yarger aged about twenty five, of Nottingham Township, died after a five day illness from typhoid fever. He visited Pennville for treatment before returning home where he grew too ill to rise. The funeral was held Friday at Salem with a large attendance, and interment followed at Stahl cemetery. He was the eldest son of William A. Yarger, recently married to Josie Showalter, and leaves a wife and father to mourn.
