The firm had sold whisky to Faylor unpaid, and with the business closed awaiting Owen Allen's sale, creditors may replevin goods under five day notice rules. Allen holds the saloon keys but reports no business activity.
Mrs J B Cooke of Nederlands Texas touts Chamberlain's Colic Cholera and Diarrhoea Remedy as unmatched for children. She says it cures when used as directed and credits repeated family use. Davenport & Ehile sell the product.
The Rathbone Sisters voted to invite sister lodges from Warren Van Buren and Ossian to visit the Bluffton Temple on April 22. Committees will arrange entertainment including work for candidates and a bounteous supper. A large turnout and good time are expected.

The appellate court affirms the lower court ruling against Edward Atkinson for permitting a crowd of boys in his saloon on Sunday.
