Four more area COVID deaths reported in region
Four more COVID related deaths were reported in the region. In Mercer County two men aged 41 and 64 died, bringing county deaths to 162. McDowell County totals rose to 42 with two additional deaths. Long term care facilities reported outbreaks at Stonerise Princeton and McDowell Nursing & Rehab Center. Statewide deaths reached 3,839 with 1,398 new cases. Governor Justice cautioned hospitalizations and ICU use remain high.
