Fireworks Plane Crash Kills Two West Virginia
Fairmont, May 30. A fireworks launch during a holiday celebration at Arnettaville ended in disaster as a stunt plane piloted by Lieut. Loren H. Scott stalled during a loop and crashed half a mile from the scene. Scott died in hospital from multiple injuries, and Everett Arnholtz of Coshocton, Ohio, was killed at the scene. Scott, a barnstormer and Army Reserve member, had just performed a loop prior to the fatal crash. His wife and two children were at his bedside when he died.
