Mercer man found guilty of second degree murder in 2019 shooting
Timothy Paul Hager, 24, of Bluefield was convicted Thursday of second degree murder in the July 11, 2019 shooting death of Joshua Rasnick at Hager’s Stony Ridge Road home. An AK-47 and 30 round magazine were found outside, with shell casings located inside. Rasnick was found in a room near the front door after being shot twice. The trial presented evidence that Hager fired as Rasnick moved toward the door during a confrontation.

CART to receive CARES funding for Bluefield area
