Bennett Case Expected to Reach Jury Today
Chattanooga Tenn March 27 The defense argued the bones found under a Chattanooga house were not from a murder victim. They contended Miss Augusta Hoffman who was connected to Bennett could not have been killed in 1915 and hidden under the floor. The state argued the Bennetts murdered her between 1915 and February or March 1915, with the trial to be handed to the jury tomorrow.
