In the 1991 World Team Championship semifinal, Iceland vs Sweden reached six clubs after a spade lead. Declarer won with spade ace, cashed seven clubs, and propelled the slam despite defense holding four hearts, leading to a dramatic victory setting. A parallel Brazil Poland semifinal saw the Polish declarer also reach slam and claim all 13 tricks.
