GRTA Adopts Fares as Bluefield Withdraws Funding
The Transit Gateway Regional Authority GRTA approved new fare rates effective July 1 and warned Bluefield Virginia may lose service next month after council withdrawal of funding. Officials project monthly revenue gains but face a $120,000 operating deficit for 1980 and unclear sources to cover shortfalls.
