Equestrian park project tied to Bluefield Princeton land
The planned equestrian park near Green Valley will sit on land owned by Bluefield and Princeton in a public private partnership. The Regional One Planning and Development Council will administer the joint project. The city also revised a building stabilization deal for the old Bluefield Daily Telegraph to reduce costs. City records show a year with no injuries, saving 70 000 to 80 000 in worker compensation, enabling funds to be used elsewhere. Garbage collection shifts to Monday July 3 due to the Fourth of July holiday.
