Fence May Have Prevented Bicycle Mishap
Two Bluefield girls ages 14 and 8 were injured Tuesday evening when their bicycle plunged from a 15 foot wall behind Shoney’s Restaurant in a hillside area. Police say the bike went over the embankment toward Rogers Street as construction work disrupted a cyclone fence that might have prevented the fall. The hospital listed them in good condition, though others say injuries are serious and one girl is undergoing diagnostic work. investigation continues.
