Court Won't Invest Jail Fund Money Anello Says
Mercer County Court president Donald Anello announced the court cannot invest about 100000 in the jail fund as it is state money. He noted the funds idle for two years and that interest could support approved county projects with State Tax Commissioner approval. The court seeks legal guidance from the State Attorney General on hiring a county manager using interest from invested funds.
