No Progress Made In Sanitation Salary Dispute

Sanitation and street department workers in Princeton, 20 employees, miss a second day of work over unresolved pay raises. City officials report no budget funds for raises while negotiations continue. The city hired Gordon Lusk Disposal at 40 dollars an hour to collect hospital garbage, a claim disputed by City Manager Ira Southern who says no agreement with Lusk exists. Downtown and residential areas pile up with uncollected garbage as talks resume, with a possible return to work Monday and potential private hauling if delays persist.
