Quilt history drive seeks pre 1940 WV quilts and makers
A statewide West Virginia effort to locate and document quilts and quiltmakers prior to 1940 began in April with a meeting in Elkins. The group, formed by the West Virginia Heritage Quilt Search, seeks funding via grants and contributions and invites information from the public to build a permanent record of these quilts and their artisans.
