Pineville Officer Hurt After High Speed Chase
Pineville City Police Officer Walter Mullins Jr. suffered a broken leg after a high speed pursuit on Route 16 toward Welch. Mullins was arrested for DUI, reckless driving, and failure to stop. he received a 30 day sentence. The chase involved 80 mph speeds and narrowly avoided three head-on collisions.
