FAR URGES VETS TO HOLD BONDS FOR HOME INVESTMENT

Washington reports the Housing Administration urges World War II veterans who received bonus payments to hold their bonds until maturity and consider investing in a home under the National Housing Act. Endorsed by leaders from the American Legion, Veterans Administration, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Disabled American Veterans, the campaign promotes using bond proceeds for better housing and modernization rather than cashing out now.

Woman's Missionary meeting set in War

War, June 13. The regular monthly meeting of the Woman's Missionary Society of the Methodist Church will be held Tuesday at 8 pm in the community house. Capitol for Sightseers Ready for Record Visitor Day

Charleston June 13 Capitol building guides prepare for a record summer influx. Superintendent Cunningham reports thousands of pamphlets, expects visitors from all states, last year from 44 states.
