Gary Bowling's Surprising Studio Tour at Area Arts Center
Gary Bowling and his wife Debbie run a bustling gallery on the third floor where his studio spills into the hall. The Paine Gallery hosts over 9,000 children since December, with free Bowling prints for every visitor and outreach visits to schools unable to fund trips. The space features Bowling watercolors, paper cutouts, fossil paintings, and works by Janet Littlejohn, Rita Montrosse, and Hal Brainerd, all recently added to the Bowlings’ represented artists.

Top Gun review critiques focus on flight over characters
The review notes the film aims to portray Top Gun’s aviation world more than its people, with frequent technical dialogue that may confuse casual viewers. Action mainly unfolds in the skies, leaving little time for plot or character development as it courts a balance between The Right Stuff and An Officer and a Gentleman but remains hard to grasp for some audiences.
