Gary Bowling's Surprising Studio At Area Arts Center
Gary Bowling and his wife Debbie run a third floor studio and gallery at the Area Arts Center. Visitors enter a cluttered space with a large black precipice canvas and straw like hair baskets, then view Bowling watercolors, paper cutouts, fossil paintings, and works by Janet Littlejohn Rita Montrosse and Hal Brainerd. They have hosted over 9,000 children since December and offer free Bowling prints to each child. The Bowlings represent local artists and bring art to schools and tours in a community education effort.

Flight School Review: Top Gun Fails to Ground Its Grasp
A fellow flight student delivers a mischievous impression while the film prioritizes a portrait of Top Gun over its characters.
