In Blackstone, Virginia three siblings Darnell and Dennis Epes and Bertha Merrette were killed when struck by a Norfolk and Western passenger train while playing near the tracks. Police identified the victims and said the incident occurred about 2 30 p m on a straight track as they returned to the rails. The brothers were sons of Gilbert and Mrs. Epes. the girl was daughter of Sidney and Mrs. Merrette. All were residents of Blackstone.
