SummerFest 2000 opens with pageant and expanding carnival
SummerFest 2000 kicks off at Princeton with Miss SummerFest and Little Miss SummerFest selections by the Princeton Jaycees at the Recreation Center. The James H. Drew Carnival expands to about twice last year’s size at Princeton City Park. The festival runs Friday through Sunday with multiple events daily including contests, concerts, sports, car shows, and family activities.
